In August of 2021, we moved Marilyn from Hemet California to a group Home a mile from my house. She was near death, and anyone who saw her shook their heads thinking her time was up any moment. With the love, help and patience of Jean and her staff, we were able to breathe life back into Marilyn. It was a very long road with a broken hip to set us back, but our mother, with her fighting will to live manage to recover enough to outgrow the group home and moved to an Assisted living home so she had more independence. She continued to fight, with the goal of one day going back home to Hemet. She never let that goal slip from her mind. We had some amazing women at Twilight Haven help us. Jean, Winsome, Den, Judie, Kimeia, and Edna. They will forever hold a very special place in my heart. The pictures are not pretty, but it was a he'll of a time in late 2021.

Marilyn came to Mesa Az after losing her Dentures at a temporary group home after a stay in the hospital in Hemet.
We were concerned about the cost of new Dentures, and if they would again accidental be thrown away.
However, this time, we had Marilyn's name put on the Dentures just in case they got lost. Marilyn had a habit of taking the Dentures out, wrapping them in a napkin or tissue. With everyone on Alert, we never lost them again. Dentures are very important for eating,drinking & talking
