Nathan Matthew Andrews

April 24, 1995 - February 27, 2024

On February 27, 2024, our beloved Natey died unexpectedly at his home in Phoenix, Arizona. Nathan was a source of great joy to his family and everyone he encountered. This sudden loss has taken us all by surprise.

Nathan was born on April 24, 1995 in Chandler, Arizona, the second of four children to Mark and Monica Andrews (Boles). He is survived by his loving parents, Mark and Monica; his 3 siblings: Jacob, Matthew, and Mariah; his girlfriend, Chloe; his godson, Charles;  grandparents and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and family friends; and his two cats, Shabba and Poe. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth (Papa); grandmother, Katherine; and loved companions: Maybin, Miley, Clyde, and Gidget.

From early in life, it was clear that Nate was a one-of-a-kind personality - often doing a given task over the top but always able to make people laugh. He was a beautiful and precocious child who sought adventure and new experiences every day. Nathan’s fun-loving nature was contagious throughout his life.

Nathan grew to become an incredibly caring and passionate man. He made each person in his life feel important and loved. No matter the time of day or what was going on in life, he would be the first one there if anyone needed help. His family meant the world to him, and Nathan knew, without a shadow of a doubt, how incredibly loved he was.

We have lost a part of our hearts with Nathan’s untimely passing. However, his spirit lives on in all of us who knew and loved him. To know Nate was to love Nate, and knowing Nate he will show up when you least expect it. His spirit is all around us and we will honor him every day by living life to the fullest and loving those around us.

Until we see you again Natey…

There’s no better feeling than coming home after a long journey; and there’s no better feeling than leaving home to start another one.” - Anthony Bourdain

"Eat at a local restaurant tonight. Get the cream sauce… Go somewhere you’ve never been. Listen to someone you think may have nothing in common with you. Order the steak rare. Eat an oyster… Be open to a world where you may not understand or agree with the person next to you… Eat slowly. Tip your server. Check in on your friends. Check in on yourself. Enjoy the ride." - Anthony Bourdain
