Obituary of James D. Barger, Jr.

James D. Barger, Jr., 75, passed away on Jan. 25, 2024. 

He is survived by his daughter, Jayme Herz; son-in-law Mac Herz; granddaughters Audrey and Caroline Herz; sisters M. Susan Barger and M. Elizabeth Slimak; and brother Michael Barger. 

James lived in Tempe, AZ, for the last 12 years. Before this, he lived in Las Vegas, NV, and worked at the Nevada Test Site.  

He loved reading, music, politics, learning, cooking, and spending time with his family – especially his granddaughters. He will be greatly missed.
