Obituary of Marco Antonio Alvarez

Marco Antonio Alvarez suddenly passed away on January 21st, 2024. Mark was born on September 29, 1973 to Manuel and Loretta Alvarez. He grew up in Guadalupe Az. He was the second oldest of six siblings. He loved baseball and was a well known catcher in our small town, #16. He was a die hard fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Dodgers. He loved listening to Tejano music and enjoyed dancing every chance he got. He was very outspoken, always cracking jokes and making us laugh. He made his presence well known wherever he was at.

Mark is preceded in death by his Mother Loretta, Father Manuel, older sister Leticia, younger brother Hector, and oldest son Markie. He is survived by his younger brothers Jose, Jesus and younger sister Frances, his daughter Crystal, youngest son Alanzo and granddaughter Lorena. He was loved by his family and numerous godchildren. Mark will sadly be missed.

Viewing will be at the Santa Lucia Temple in Guadalupe, Az., on February 9th, 2024 at 10am. Burial will be on February 10th, 2024 at the Guadalupe cemetery.
