Obituary of Daniel R. Byrd

Daniel R. Byrd left his earthly body for greener pastures on October 12, 2023.                                               

Son of Arvil and Lois Byrd, brother to Delores, Thomas, Michael and Arvil Jr (Bud) that he is now reunited with and brother to Linda and Carol still with us. A dedicated partner to his Mary Frazier and her family, father to Kathleen, Daniel Jr., and Michael. Grandfather and Great Grandfather to all his beloved grandchildren. Friend like family to everyone he met.

He was a lifelong journeyman in the Sheetmetal Local 359 Union but loved working on his houses, fixing everyone's vehicles, and fixing anything else that came along.

 He had a passion for guitar playing and could play and sing just about anything by ear of which he passed on to his sons who shall now carry-on those jam sessions for him. 

He loved camping and fishing and long naps under the pines. Loved his episodes of Star Trek and Andy Griffith too.

But most of all he loved his family and his friends and would do anything to help them and spend time with them. 

As he now watches over us all may we never forget him and try be as loving and caring as he taught us to be.
