Obituary of Linda Roe Tipping

Linda Roe Tipping of Chandler, Arizona passed away after a short stay in the Chandler Regional Medical Center and following hospice. After having survived 2 miracle surgeries, complications set in, and she entered into the hospice program.

Linda was the wife of Donald H. Tipping for 12 years. Linda was born in Lawrence, Kansas the daughter of Bernard and Lorraine Roe. Linda is survived by her son, Michael H. Tipping and his wife, Leslie, and grandchildren; Mackenzie and Jacob Tipping. Family in Pennsylvania also include her sister, Georgia R. Zieger, and nieces and nephews, Sarah Z. Dominek and children; Zoe, Madison and Jackson Dominek and John D. Zieger and wife Melissa and their children; Hannah, Benjamin and Nora Zieger.

Linda enjoyed working early on at J M Korn Advertising in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, meeting husband Don while riding the train into Philadelphia. She also worked at Hatchell Brothers Construction in Albuquerque as an office manager and as a bus driver for the Albuquerque school system later on. Linda enjoyed her family, visiting new places and meeting new people, almost always forming new friendships along the way. Even in the ICU, her friendly personality had the nurses and doctors looking forward to visiting her room making them laugh with a good story. She also enjoyed gardening and giving "ear rubs" to many cats and dogs over the years. Linda was also quite the artist and while she never pursued this talent as a career, the nieces and nephews always enjoyed receiveing one of her "little doodles". Above everything, she loved her family, always passing on stories of her grandkids "little Mac" and Jake. Linda was an amazing mom to Mike, grandmother, aunt, the best sister and friends to those lucky enough to know her. She will be greatly missed.
