Obituary of Phyllis Dykstra

Phyllis Dykstra, age 93, went to be with her heavenly father on August 27, 2023.  She is survived by her children:  MaryEllen VanDyken, Barbara (Jack) Overweg, and John Jr. (Roberta), 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Marilyn Notenbaum, Peter DeYoung, and Ellen (David) Grifhorst.  

She is preceded in death by her husband John, daughter Shirley Loonsfoot, and Son-in-Law Thomas VanDyken, her parents Peter and Louise DeYoung, and brother Gaylord DeYoung.

A Celebration of Life Open House will be held in Honor of Phyllis on October 1, 2023 from 2 to 5 PM at Hager Park Reformed Church, 2635 Bauer Rd, Jenison, MI 49428 in the Lodge Building.
