Laura M. Martinez

 October 22, 1988 - July 10, 2023 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Laura M. Martinez. A vibrant soul with an unyielding love for life, Laura left an indelible mark on all who were blessed to know her. Her journey on this earthly plane came to an end on July 10, 2023, but her spirit will forever live on in our cherished memories.

 Interests & Qualities 
Laura's devotion to family was unparalleled, and she embraced every moment with a smile that could brighten the darkest days. Her laughter was contagious, and she effortlessly made friends wherever she went.  Laura earned her medical assistant certification from Everest College.  Most recently, Laura was a care taker for her young nieces and nephews.

 Location: St. Mary's Basilica, Phoenix, AZ

Following the memorial service, there will be a reception at the church, where we will celebrate Laura's remarkable life and share stories of her enduring spirit.
 

 Laura was predeceased by her father Richard Martinez, Great Grandma Juanita Villfranco, Grandfather Ralph Patton, and Grandparents Tomasita Camacho and Cleofas Camacho.  As well as her Uncles Ernest and Tommy Camacho, Aunt Hermelinda Camacho, and cousin Edward Martinez.

Survived by
Laura is survived by her loving mother, Gloria Martinez; devoted sister, Alexandria Martinez and brother and law Ray Carrera; caring brother, Justin Martinez.  Nieces and nephews Alexis, Richard, Raymundo, and Penelope and Grandmother Hermila Patton.  As well as family in Arizona, Texas, and North Carolina.

We invite all friends, family, and acquaintances whose lives Laura touched to join us in paying our respects and bidding farewell to a truly exceptional individual.
