Contributions to the tribute of Robert 'Bob' John Stahl

After not getting an email from Dr Stahl for a few months, I sadly discovered he had left us. I will never forget how Bob guided me, first as my mentor at ASU and then as a valued friend. He had a rare combination of passion for learning and an interest in people of all cultures. He generously shared his wisdom and experience. Invites for coffee and conversation could entail recent discoveries about Billy the Kid, empirical thought, and how students learn best. My heartfelt condolences to Nancy and the rest of his family. Anyone who has shared a cup of coffee with him, will miss him.

Condolences to Nancy and family. Bob was a very special multi-talented person. I am so glad that I was able to spend some time with Nancy and Bob at their home this year. It was a real joy and Bob will be sorely missed.

My condolences to Nancy and Bob’s Family. Bob was the glue that held the Eustis High School Class of ‘63 together. He kept in touch with members and maintained a database that he used to keep the class updated on his visits. He was always the person who brought class memorabilia to every reunion, including a note that he received from someone during class. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
