Obituary of Bonnie Jean McKinzie

Bonnie Jean Mckinzie, age 67 passed away in her home in Mesa Arizona on June 5, 2019. Bonnie was born on April 28, 1952 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Nola Bole and Clarence Bole. She was selfless, caring and she loved her family with all her being. Her love for her children and grandchildren was endless. Her unwavering ability to make children and her family, and animals of all shapes and sizes feel loved, special, and important will not be forgotten. She graciously but unwaveringly fought through hardships and health challenges and is a role model to her sisters and her entire family on how to handle life’s challenges with love and courage. Bonnie is loved and dearly missed by her father Clarence Bole, her husband of 19 years, Jack Mckinzie of Mesa, AZ; daughter Natalie Moore (JR) of Huber Heights, OH; granddaughter Miranda Moore of Huber Heights, OH; son Sean Parsons (Christina) of Maricopa, AZ; granddaughter Cassidy Parsons of Maricopa, AZ; Beckie (Jerry) Lowman of Huber Heights, OH, Patti (Bill) of Novi, MI; along with a vast extended family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband Phil Parsons, her mother Nola Bole, her sister Connie Bartlett of Dayton, Ohio and her loving grandparents Joseph and Nellie Guild (whom Bonnie cared for at the end of life). Bonnie had a great love of family, cooking and animals, and never failed to light up when any of those topics came up. A memorial service is being planned for the fall. Details to follow as they develop. Albert Einstein once opined, “Our death is not an end if we can live in our children and the younger generation. For they are us, our bodies are only wilted leaves on the tree of life.”
