Obituary of Margarita Cota

Our Mom, Margarita Cota, was THE BEST MOM we could have asked for. Not only was she beautiful on the outside, but she was beautiful on the inside as well. She was very proud to have been the former Mayor of Guadalupe. She was also proud of her heritage, proud of her culture and proud of who she was. You could tell by the way she carried herself with such pride and elegance. She was loved and will be missed by so many. Mom, we will miss you so so much but we know you are in such an amazing place with such amazing people. This is not goodbye, but till we meet again. Au! (Love you) Viewing and Visitation will be Friday, March 8th, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Santa Lucia Yaqui Temple. Mass will be Saturday, March 9, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Church, 5445 E. San Angelo Street, Guadalupe, Arizona 85283. Interment to immediately follow at the Guadalupe Cemetery. Please be mindful that Cuaresma starts on Wednesday, March 6th and in honor of our Mother and our Yaqui Traditions, we ask that NO ONE TAKE PICTURES, MAKE RECORDINGS OR DRINK ALCOHOL ON THE PREMISES.
