Obituary of Lyle R Schaber

Lyle R. Schaber, Born July 3, 1934 in Carbon, Alta Canada to Emmanuel and Elizabeth Schaber, Died peacefully at his son’s home in Arizona on December 22, 2018. Lyle was number 12 out of 13 children. He graduated with a BS in Nursing in 1961 at Walla Walla College, where he met Mildred Faris. They were married June 15, 1959. They moved to Spokane, WA so Lyle could attend Anesthesia School. They had two children, Diane Renae and Kerry Linn. Lyle worked as a Nurse Anesthetist at Bess Kaiser Hospital for many years. Lyle and his wife Milli volunteered many hours in the Coast Guard Auxiliary. He served as a Flotilla Commander in Flot 78 in Vancouver, WA. Lyle many hobbies included restoring Mustang cars, woodworking, and making jewelry. He is survived by his brother Ralph Schaber of Lincoln, NE, Diane Epstein of Newberg, OR, and Son Kerry Schaber of Chandler, AZ. And Lyle’s Most Proud addition, grandson Samuel Schaber.
