Obituary of Bruce Bray

Bruce “Butch” Bray of Sun Lakes, AZ formerly of Racine, WI passed away on March 22, 2019 at home surrounded by immediate family. Butch was born March 31, 1948 to Lois & Edward Bray in La Salle, IL. Butch is survived by his wife of 52 years Judy (Galletti) Bray and their children Beth (Ed) Pestka and Eddie (Adrienne) Bray, grandchildren Brayton, Delaney Pestka, Caleb, Lexie Bray, & bonus grandchildren Vivian, Zach, Claire Jasinski. Siblings Pam (Arnie) Witt, Patti (Gene) Pelka, Tina (John) Dittle, Joe (Denise) Bray, Pete Bray, Jill (Roger) Giovanine, Siblings-in-law Rudy (Marilyn) Galletti, Greg (Nancy) Galletti, and many nieces/nephews, grandnieces/nephews, family, & close friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his parents-in-law Delfo & Reggie Galletti. Butch will be remembered for his great sense of humor- sarcasm being one of his favorite ways to joke. He loved competitive games of all sorts including football, basketball, racquetball, & card games especially euchre! A great joy was attending his grandchildren’s activities and he was so proud of them! Butch attended Northern Illinois University and worked for JI Case Corp. for 30 years. Every year he and his high school buddies went on a golf trip. Per Butch’s wishes there will not be services. The family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley, especially nurse Trish for amazing care.
