Obituary of Beverly Barnette

Our sweet mother, Beverly Barnette (Burk/Nuttall) has faithfully endured her earthly life and has peacefully passed on to her well-deserved eternal rest. She died on November, 23^rd – Thanksgiving Day, 2023.  She fought a good fight, she finished the course, she kept the faith – now it’s her turn to enjoy peace in paradise.  Throughout her life she provided an accepting, joyful, comfortable space for everyone to be themselves and made us all feel so loved. We are amazed at the strength and grace she carried literally to her last breath.

She leaves behind so many that love and adore her, including her children Treven (Kathy) Nuttall, Chad (Nichole) Nuttall, Tracie Nuttall, Chirs Nuttall and Cami (Matt) Williams.  One of her greatest joys in life was being a grandma to her 14 grandchildren – Merissa, Malleri, Parker, Ella, Evrett, Madalyn, Fletcher, Josslyn, Sawyer, Lucy, Cash, Harper, Stella and Piper. 

Our family invites you to join with us for her funeral services on Saturday, December 2^nd, 2023 at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 830 E. Lehi Rd., Mesa, AZ 85203.  We will begin gathering at 9:30 am on Saturday morning for anyone who would like to stop in before the services begin.

Bev, as she was affectionately known by so many, was born in Safford, AZ and grew up in Prescott, AZ where she graduated High School.  She eventually settled in Mesa, AZ, and lived the remainder of her life primarily as a mother, grandmother, homemaker and a faithful member of the church.  She will forever be remembered for her devotion to her faith, her willingness to serve others, fun, upbeat personality and her beautiful smile.  We love you Mom!
