Obituary of Paul Dean Bryant
Paul Dean Bryant, age 86, passed away on January 24, 2023.
He was born in Topeka, Kansas, on January 27, 1936, where he spent the majority of his life. He moved to Arizona in 1999, making San Tan Valley, AZ home. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Virginia Anne Bryant (Carper), his children Dana Bryant, Sherry Dillard, Jerry Bryant, and Vadeth Robbins and their spouses; 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; his sister Barbara Rose, her children and a host of cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his son, Paul Dean Jr.
Paul served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Fort Snelling. He worked for Dupont/Flexel, retiring as Supervisor after 37 years.
Paul was a positive influence in the lives of many. He was a cowboy at heart, always wearing his wrangler jeans and boots. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, fishing, and riding horses. Charlie was always his favorite hunting dog — even though Charlie was never the same dog. One nickname his family gave him was "the weatherman," as he watched the weather channel for hours each day, always giving his report.
We have all felt the honor of knowing and loving him. Till we see you again..."Dilly, Dilly".
