Obituary of Joan Mary Stockmaster

Joan Mary Stockmaster, age 63, formerly of Cleveland Heights, OH, was called home to the Lord on December 10, 2022 in Phoenix, AZ.

Daughter of Andrew and Marian Stockmaster (both deceased) and sister of Kathryn Steidel (Richard) (both deceased) and Marian Getzelman (deceased). Joan is survived by her beloved siblings, Joyce Bowser (Phillip), Paul Stockmaster (Lauretta), Ann Stockmaster (Richard Zbin), Susan Kemp (Paul) and brother-in-law Harold Getzelman. Aunt to thirteen and Great Aunt to ten.

Joan served proudly in the U.S. Air Force for ten years and retired with the rank of Captain. She was very active in her church community, Faith Church of the Valley (Chandler, AZ), and its numerous ministries. Joan will be greatly missed and leaves a legacy of sacrifice and humble service to the Lord, her country, and all who knew her.

A memorial service celebrating Joan’s life and faith in her Savior will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022, commencing at 9:00 A.M. at Faith of the Valley Church, 2125 E. Chandler Boulevard, Chandler, AZ 85225. Burial with full military honors to be held at a later date.
