John Aranda, 60, passed away unexpectedly following surgery in Scottsdale, AZ. He was born in Mesa, AZ and graduated from Seton High School in 1979. As a skilled handyman, John was always fixing things up around the house and he was always there to lend a hand to those who needed it. He had an easy smile and was an avid jokester.
He worked for several hospitals over the years and was an HVAC technician when he retired though likely his dream job would have been farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Dolores (Acuna) Aranda.
John is survived by his two sisters: Liz, and Grace; and his children Celina, Jessica, John, Joseph and Dominic, and his many grandkids. John was very proud of his family and was known to tell great stories of them to his friends, and coworkers. Nothing brought the same smile to his face as hearing their voices and sharing a hug.
Memorial service will be from 2-4pm Friday, September 23, 2022, at Legacy Funeral Home – Rose Chapel, 1130 S Horne St, Mesa, AZ 85204.
Friends and family are invited to a celebration of his life and dinner to follow at VFW Hall, 65 S MacDonald, Mesa, AZ 85210
