Obituary of Angel David Montalvo Jr.

Retired Captain Angel David Montalvo Jr., age 73, passed away at his residence in Chandler, AZ, on September 06, 2022. He dedicated his life to serve this Nation and to serve others. He was an animal lover, loved ballroom dancing and loved to travel.

Born in New York City on May 9^th, 1949, to Carmen Fagundo and David Montalvo. After growing up in New York City, he finished his college degree at Interamerican University in San German, P.R. and was commissioned as 2^nd Lieutenant in the Air Force ROTC.

He was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain upon diagnosis of cancer. Angel was a fighter and will be remembered for his admirable resilience and tenacity. He was never a quitter and will always be OUR HERO.

Angel is predeceased by his parents and his nephew Jose Elias Granados. He is survived by his sisters Lourdes Montalvo, and Rosa & Jose Granados, his nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A wake will be held on Friday September 16, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home Chandler, AZ.
