I'm thankful I got so many years and so many lunches with Paula. I called her my work wife, but she said she was more like a work mom. Although we didn't remain close friends in recent years, she will always hold a special place in my heart and my mind. I'm thankful I was able to tell her many times that I loved her and I enjoyed her company. I will continue to love her for everything she did for me and for just being her. She was fiery and bold yet caring and silly -- above all she was absolutely hilarious. She was a beautiful soul and could light up any room with her infectious laugh. My heart aches for her loved ones; my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
