Obituary of Sheryl Denise Jepperson

Mother, Grandmother, Wife, Sister, Daughter & Friend Sheryl Denise (Slagle) Jepperson passed away suddenly on October 4, 2021 at the age of 66. Sheryl was born on November 17, 1954 In Oroville, California to Ralph Slagle and Joanne Magill, and raised from a young girl by her step-mother Lorene Slagle. When she was young, Sheryl worked hard to learn Spanish, as she loved to barter with local store owners. In high school, she served as a page in Olympia. She and her first husband Mike Morehouse gave birth to their beloved daughter Lindsey in 1982. In 1987, she married the love of her life, Dave Jepperson, and they made their home in the Puget Sound area while raising Lindsey and Dave’s daughter Jennifer. The two of them enjoyed regular visits to Mexico and Hawaii, where they relaxed and made many memories. Dave and Sheryl devoted their 50s to help raise their two older grandchildren Mason and Vannah, until they were able to be reunited with their mother. She was so incredibly proud of her grandchildren and her greatest joy was watching Lindsey be a great mother. Sheryl was the ultimate “foodie,” loved to cook, and share food with others. She delighted in sharing foods and other goodies with others and had a knack for putting together the best gifts, especially for her grandchildren and great-niece Abigail. Any visit to Sheryl’s house came with new treats to try and it was unheard of to leave without taking some home. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Dave, of Maricopa, AZ; daughter, Lindsey Warren, grandchildren Mason, Vannah and Nikaio; stepdaughter Jennifer (Don) Rzeszut; brothers Dave (Lisa) Slagle and Jerry Slagle, sisters Rachelle Slagle and Debie Dickey, and step-mother Lorene Slagle. She is so loved and will be greatly missed.
