Obituary of Douglas Craig Thompson

Douglas Craig Thompson, Sr. passed away Friday August 27th 2021. He was born June 3rd 1947 and raised in Elkhart, IN by his parents Kay and Robert Thompson. He served in the US Airforce and later met the love of his life, Beverly, whom he married in 1969. Doug graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree from University of Phoenix and worked as Quality Assurance Manager for Motorola. Doug loved spending time golfing and playing cards with friends and family, and traveling to Northern, AZ where he and Bev would build many wonderful memories. He enjoyed sharing stories of adventures traveling through HI and across the US. Doug enjoyed visiting many airplane museums and sharing his passion of aircraft with others. Doug is survived by his wife Bev, son Doug Jr. and wife Gaby, son Chris and wife Meg and Chris and Meg’s two daughter’s Keely and Shay, whom he enjoyed very much.
