Obituary of Kurt Carman

Kurt Carman of Sun Lakes, Arizona passed away on January 17th, 2022 after a long illness at the age of 71. Kurt was born on November 7, 1950 in Hudson, NY. He is the son of late Earl G. Carman and Thelma Monthie Carman. Kurt is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Gail Olsen Carman, his son Kyle Carman (Holly) and two grandsons Hunter & Tripp. Kurt spent much of his career working for the Hypercom Corporation as the Director of Inventory Management and Distribution. He loved his job very much and helped manage inventories at the Hypercom facilities in Australia, Brazil, Mexico, and Phoenix. Kurt was an avid fly fisherman, enjoyed Gardening, writing Prose & Poetry (https://hellopoetry.com/kurt-carman/), and his love for the culinary arts. He was a loyal New York Rangers hockey fan. He enjoyed Estate Auctions, buying and selling art work, mid-century furnishings and decor. Kurt and Gail were the owners of Goodwill Hunting LLC Antique Shop in downtown Phoenix. Gail and Kurt have so many wonderful memories of their trips to Ireland as well as Fly Fishing the Silver Creek preserve in Picabo Idaho, the Snake River, Henry’s Fork in Island Park and the many rivers and streams in West Yellowstone, MT.
