Obituary of John L. Senters

John L. Senters, age 74, passed away September 20, 2021 at his home in Chandler, Arizona. John was born in Virginia, an only child to his beautiful Mother Eva. He grew up in Massachusetts where after High school he joined the Navy at age 17, serving in the Vietnam war. Shortly after the war he attended college where he studied criminal law. He married Beverly at age 21 and they had two children. He moved to Arizona in 1981 where he worked as a printer until he retired. It is certain that upon entering the gates of heaven John walked straight up to Elvis Presley and punched him in his face. You see, John was a kind, loving, good hearted man but his wife of 54 years had a lifelong love affair with Elvis. John, his children and Grandchildren were forced to endure hours of Mr. Presley’s music on a daily basis. We believe John is at a table with his mother, family and friends listening to CCR or perhaps the Beatles eating his Aunt Ginny’s amazing Italian food and throwing garlic bread to all the dogs he loved and lost during his time on earth. After that he will be sitting in his recliner with his dog Rusty watching endless amounts of television and movies. He will look down at us all to tell us how much he loves us and on occasional tell us to “get our heads out of our assess”. John will be horribly missed and forever loved by his lovely wife Beverly, Son John, Daughter Christine and Grandchildren Brianna, Issabella, Anthony and Michael. A celebration of John’s life will be October 3, 2021 from 6pm-8pm at 1897 E. Carla Vista drive, Chandler Arizona 85225
