Alda was so creative and before her vision began to fail she was always busy with a project.  She knitted, painted landscapes, beaded jewelry, loved floral arranging and always had a cross-stitch in progress.  Her delight was spending time with her family and making memories.

When Sam retired from the Air Force, they made their home in Sidney, MT, followed by Miles City, Fairview and Billings, MT.  In December of 2011 Mesa became their permanent residence.

Alda is survived by her husband of 64 years, Samuel Cook of Mesa, her daughter Janet (Tim) Fedora, Mesa, AZ, her son Steven (Jodie) Cook, Sioux Falls, SD, her grandchildren Cole (Angie) Fedora, Bethany (Spencer) Loomis, Sam Cook, Camille Cook, and great grandson, Bensyn Loomis.
